The GATE is an all India Entrance Exam for the various undergraduate subjects to test your skills in subject understanding. This test happens once in a year and it is a joint venture of IISc and seven IIT's. The score will assess you and provide your relative performance level. The score is used for the admission to the postgraduate programmes like M.E, M.Tech, Int.Phd, JRF, Research Associate.The score is also used by PSU's for primary screening for the jobs.
